University activities

• Students of the University of Trento can enjoy many of the extracurricular activities organised by the University:
• Sporting activities such as sailing (also available for people with disabilities), windsurfing, canoeing, rowing, Alpine skiing, gymnastics, aerobics, aqua-gym, tennis, basketball and sail-flying.
• Sporting events such Facoltiads and tournaments between faculties.
• Competitive activities within the universitiy three sports centers: baseball, basketball, rowing, Nordic skiing, cross-country skiing, tennis, triathlon.
• Student discounts for swimming pools and gyms.
• Cinema screenings and many other types of events.
• Student discounts for tickets in cinemas and theatres.

Regional activities

The province of Trento offers high standard services to its citizens and is famous for the beauty of its lakes and mountains. The wide range of sports practiced in the area includes open-air sports (parachuting, sail-flying, paragliding, hang-gliding), water sports (sailing, surfing, diving, water-skiing, canoeing, rafting, fishing) and over land sports (alpinism, trekking, hiking, winter and summer ski, cycling, mountain bike, horse riding, golf, orienteering, speleology, tennis, ice-skating, in-line skating, archery).
